Assignment 17A

After my last elevator pitch, I realized that I needed to sharpen my material and really hone in my message to best sell the product to those listening to me. Therefore, I tried to provide vocal variation and a better overall message that the listeners to relate to. I hope anyone who sees this feels that improvements have been made.

  1. I think this post is better than the last. I do believe you are still holding back though. I think you internally know this is just an assignment and not real life so you dont consciously try to perform at your peak level. I think if you imagined you are presenting to a venture capital firm or a group of investors, you r tone and energy would naturally rise. You can tell you know what you are talking about, but sometimes how you say it is more important than what you say. Overall, great post though.

  2. Hi Andrew! I agree with Josh, you certainty know what you’re talking about. However, I don’t feel the energy coming across, or the volume, I need you to convince us that we need your product. Also, try not to read it from a paper while on camera, it only hurts you in the long run if you are. Overall, I think it was good and I’m glad you uploaded it.

  3. Hi Andrew,
I think you did very well in this pitch. You had a very good message that would be able to hook someone into the idea of your product and you definitely know what you are talking about. I would just say it needs to be a little longer though and it sounded good but I would add a little more of emotional variance into as well. People get excited when other people are excited about something, so if you incorporated that into your pitch, I think it would be even better.

  4. The tone of the speech is professional and you hit many major points that help to describe your product and why people may need it. I think adding a little more energy could really improve this speech and make it even more successful. If you could have some excitement with the same level of professionalism this would be a fantastic elevator speech.
